"Be classified as a panademia or not, we cannot take importance out of coronavirus. (...) This is why we need to be informed and have the facts at hand.
So, here are ten good news about coronavirus that you might have missed out:

Vaccines are preventive care but what is maybe more important is how to heal the already sick. For this, we can find today more than 80 clinical trials against Coronavirus. Most of these are antivirals that have been used agains other kind of infections, that are already safe for human use."

"Be classified as a panademia or not, we cannot take importance out of coronavirus. (...) This is why we need to be informed and have the facts at hand.
So, here are ten good news about coronavirus that you might have missed out:
We know who he is
The first cases of AIDS where described in june '81 and it took over two years to find out the virus that caused the diseases. Regarding Coronavirus, first cases of severe penumonia were found in China, december 31, 2019 and just 7 days later, by the end of the first week of january, virus had been identified. Its whole genome was available in 10 days.
We know how to detect it
A RT-PCR test exists to detect the virus and it's been made available to the world since january 13.
China's situation is improving
China's severe control and isolation is working. Since a couple of weeks ago, the diagnosted number of cases is getting lower and lower.
In other countries the situation is easier to handle since they have very focused points of outbreaks, as in South Korea or Singapur.
80% of coronavirus's cases are mild
In 81% of the cases there are no symptoms, or they are mild. The other 15% can cause severe pneunomia and 5% can be critical or deadly. Only 5%.
People heal and get better
There are 13 times more patients that have healed than those that have died. And this ratio is still growing.

It mostly doesn't affect our youngs
Just 3% of the cases are minors. The mortality rate in people younger than 40 is just 0.2%. In some minors, sympthoms can go unnoticed.
Virus is easy to inactivate
This Coronavirus can be inactivated from surfaces very easily with a solution made out of ethanol (62-71%), hydrogen peroxyde (oxigenated water 0.5%) or sodium hypochlorite (0.1%) in just ONE minute.
Hand-washing with water and soap is the most efficient way to avoid infection.
There's over 150 scientific papers on the topic
Science is doing her job. In a bit more than a month, over 164 papers can be found in PubMed about COVID19 or SARSCov2. Most of them are preliminary work on vaccines, treatments, epidemiology, genetics, phylogy, diagnostic and other clinical aspects of the Coronovirus.
There are vaccine prototypes
At least 8 projects of global reach are working in order to develop a vaccine. We as humans are more than proficient in building these kinds of medicines but their developlment can take some time due to all the testing needed to make sure they are safe for human use.
There's over 80 clinical trials with antivirals on course
Vaccines are preventive care but what is maybe more important is how to heal the already sick. For this, we can find today more than 80 clinical trials against Coronavirus. Most of these are antivirals that have been used agains other kind of infections, that are already safe for human use."
